Behind the camera
Victory Is Forever is run by Alexander Zwick. I am a professional photographer, videographer and content creator, and an amateur fighter.
I got into combat sports through my best friend, a BJJ black belt. He started training in college, and when hanging out got harder I asked how we could see each other more. He invited me to Longo MMA. One session and I was hooked. He went grappling, I went striking, and I kept training in Florida at Florida Kickboxing Academy under Asa Ten Pow, where I learned Muay Thai.
The camera started in the corner. My teammates were competing and nobody was filming it, so I recorded their fights on a janky Android phone. That turned into a real passion for this community and for making these nights permanent. The best part is still watching someone see their images for the first time.
